Kyiv’s Respublika shopping mall sold for $28.3 million

Respublika was to become Ukraine’s largest shopping and entertainment center with a total area of 295,000 square meters.

Soltex Capital acquired the rights to Kyiv's unfinished shopping mall Respublika at a Dutch auction, having offered UAH 777.13 million (US$28.3 million). The Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) of Ukraine had been auctioning off the rights to claim to the two loans of Nadra bank, the institution undergoing a liquidation procedure, that's according to ProZorro.Sale electronic procurement system. 

The opening of the Respublika shopping and entertainment center was scheduled for November 2014. However, Megapoliszhylbud company later postponed the opening ceremony to March 2015 due to the unstable economic and political situation in the country.

Respublika was to become Ukraine's largest shopping and entertainment center with a total area of 295,000 square meters and rental space of 135,000 square meters. Megapoliszhylbud was the customer of the project, KAN Development developed it, while KAN Bud was its general contractor.
